This business retails computer product and also provides hardware and software service, training and support. She also set up and ran an Adventure Tourism company and tutored in computing at the Polytechnic.

Including development in Paradox for Windows for a primary producer and exporter, development in MS Access using Microsoft Internet Information Server for an integrated Internet system, and a number of applications in Visual Basic versions 3, 4, 5 and 6 dealing with Budget Forecasting, Theatre Ticketing and Graphing. MS SQL 7, SQL 2000, Oracle, VB and Access for a Health Provider producing applications to manage the ‘end user’ services provided by the hospitals.
Considerable experience in the Health sector has been gained during this time. Working for the local District Health board as a software developer and DBA. Work on HL7 files. |
