 This stage involved the design, development and implementation of a system for a company who is not your normal employer.  The work was undertaken in teams of two.  I went to Unilever (NZ) who had an IBM 360/135 running under DOS/VS.  The system was written using Total database and cross-referenced programs, files, macros, source books, subroutines and modules.  For this I received a C in Business Systems Development.

Diploma in Computer Studies (Stage III)

 This stage involved the writing of a thesis on a computer related topic.  I chose the subject of "Computer Education at Tertiary Level".  This covered all courses available in New Zealand at that time, and analysis of each and then a summary of which was the best course to take.  A copy of this thesis is available in the library at the Central Institute of Technology.
